About David Auer

David joined SBAuer Funds, LLC in November of 2025 as Director of Marketing. A retired U.S. Marine who served as a signals intelligence specialist (MOS 2651), David’s military duty includes a deployment to Fallujah, Iraq, from 2006 to 2007.

David brings extensive financial-services experience from Schwab Wealth Advisory, where he supported more than $250 million in assets under management. He also worked on Schwab’s Active Trader Desk, assisting clients with active trading, margin, and options strategies. Before entering the financial-services industry, David worked as a systems analyst at IU Health Methodist and Saxony hospitals.

David earned degrees in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He lives in Westfield with his family and enjoys supporting his children’s activities, which include marching band, football, and go-kart racing.
